About

This blog is a result of tireless research started by two men from Manchester, England; one of whom happens to live in Australia. And by ‘tireless research’, we mean we looked up how to start a blog on Google.

Along the way, we convinced two other people it would be a valuable use of their time if they helped write reviews too. Based in the UK, those two people are still waiting to be convinced.

Our reviews are often short and rarely to the point, but we feel they’re truthful. If you disagree with anything we say, feel free to contact us.

Thanks.

  1. Think you have lived up to your self description in your review of Now, Forager. I have read over 100 reviews and critiques of the film and yours was truly the most succinct and insightful. You evaluated it for what it was, not (not as many other critics did) for what they thought it should be in their subjective opinions. I am close to this film for many reasons including it’s cinematic integrity, a rare quality that I found in your review.

    1. Thank you for taking the time to read and comment on the site.

Now, Forager is definitely one of our favourite films this year and we have been recommending it to people as much we can without sounding mad. We’re glad you feel the review did it some justice.

  2. Hi Guys,

I found your site while looking for reviews relating to those found in the 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die Book. Allow me to extend an invitation to join our little club. It’s a chance to flex our critic muscle all while seeing what other people have to say about the same movie. Swing by and see if it’s something that you’d be interested in participating in. We’d love to have you!
